About

The global industry has never been bigger. The industry’s challenges have never been more profound or more global and hence, the industry’s Executive Development Program (EDP) has never been more important.

Join UNLV International Gaming Institute and the University of Nevada, Reno College of Business and Extended Studies for a very special Executive Development Program (EDP) – taking place virtually from December 5-11, 2021 in your home office – alongside the next generation of global experts from six continents. Learn from the industry’s most esteemed executives, as we tackle, together and in teams, the industry’s toughest 2021 challenges. This year, we lead from a place of hope and optimism, shifting from crisis leadership to post-traumatic leadership, as only EDP can.

Our traditional Executive Development Program—a partnership between UNR College of Business and Extended Studies and UNLV International Gaming Institute (IGI)—boasts more than 1,500 successful gaming industry alums on every continent with legal gaming.

Program Format

With just as much rigor as the traditional EDP program, participants will be assigned pre-work and asynchronous presentations to watch prior to and during the program – and will meet an even bigger group of star faculty enabled by technology. Expect to work with global teams in a variety of roles in the industry. You’ll collaborate with CEOs, marketing geniuses, table games gurus, GMs, chief regulators, manufacturers, and leaders of all sorts.

Program Schedule

The program will run December 5-11, 2021, and begins with a reception for all participants on Thursday, December 2, 2021/Friday, December 3, 2021. We will have sessions that are repeated daily to accommodate global time zones. Live mandatory sessions are at 5:00 p.m. PST and 9:00 a.m. PST and will run approximately three hours. Participants can attend both sessions but are only required to attend one. Additional team meetings will take place on the same day. The program will conclude Saturday evening December 11 PST. Expect to spend intensive, rewarding days and several evenings on program-related activities.
